Jean K. Kashuba, 85, of Seymour, peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 4, 2013, in the comfort of her home, with her devoted family by her side. She is the beloved wife of Gregory V. Kashuba.
Mrs. Kashuba was born in Bristol, England on December 10, 1927, daughter of the late Alfred and Kathleen Freckum Gage. A resident of Seymour for sixty years, she was employed at the former Rasbach Photo Studios in Shelton and later at Sikorsky Aircraft until her retirement in 1985.
She held a special place in her heart for all animals and enjoyed flower gardening and taking trips back to her home country England.
In addition to her husband Gregory, she is survived by a loving son, Gregory Kashuba and his wife Marie of Oxford, two loving daughters, April Boorman of Devon, England and Paula Pelletier of Beacon Falls, seven cherished grandchildren, Michael, Gregory and Alexandrea Kashuba, Arthur Pelletier IV, April Pelletier, Keith and Vicki Boorman and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Millington.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday June 9, 2013, from 4 – 6 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLIRICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 6:00 pm, a funeral service will be held with Deacon Richard Renker officiating. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
