Jean Zdanowski, age 75, longtime Shelton resident recently of Wallingford entered into rest on October 30, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
She was the devoted wife of 43 years of the late Joseph Zdanowski.
Jean was born in Bridgeport on June 4, 1943 daughter of the late Jeannette Kot and Michael Stoffan.
She was the Administrative Coordinator at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New England in Fairfield until her retirement. Jean loved to read, knit, color and crochet. She loved to be with people and enjoyed going out to dinner and the movies with her friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Jean is the beloved mother of Jeri-Lyn Walsh and her husband David, Jennifer Grodzicki and her husband Jeffrey, Janice Zdanowski and her wife Amy and Joanne Burns and her husband Raymond, sister of, Leontia Carrano, Pamela Sobolewski and John and Michael Stoffan. She is the loving grandmother of Kayla, Rayanne, Michael and Branden and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. On Saturday, friends are invited to go directly to Holy Trinity, 406 White Plains Rd., Trumbull for her funeral service at 3:00 p.m.
