Jeanne Marino, age 78, of Seymour entered into rest on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Shady Knoll Health Care with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Derby on February 27, 1944 daughter of the late Tony and Ann Ptak and was a lifelong valley resident. Jeanne enjoyed gardening, cats and was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed making her own clothing.
She was the beloved mother of two sons with Joseph Marino; Stephen Marino and the late Paul Marino. Sister of Kenneth Ptak his wife Mary. Loving grandmother of Douglas Marino, Samantha Marino, Adrianna Marino and Victoria Fanelli her husband Kevin. Mother in law of Michele Marino and Stephens best friend and companion Bonnie Braatz.
On Friday, friends are invited to go directly to St. Mary’s Church, 212 Elizabeth St., Derby for her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Her burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. At this time, there will not be a formal reception following.
