Jeffrey James Hunt, age 31, entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2019, in his home.
Jeff was born in New Haven on October 8, 1987, loving son of Denice Rowley Hunt and the late John J. “Jack” Hunt. A lifelong resident of the Ansonia community, he graduated from Ansonia High School in 2006. He was employed as a client monitor at Union House in Bridgeport.
He enjoyed watching movies with Patrick, Phil and Jer and spending time with his canine “Queen” Ryleigh Jayne.
In addition to his mother Denice, he leaves to cherish his memory, brothers, John J. Hunt III and his wife Michele of Newtown and Joseph J. Hunt and his wife Michelle of Seymour, a sister, Lorri Hunt Shortell and her husband Michael of Ansonia, maternal grandparents, Joseph and Jacklyn (Belko) Rowley of Ansonia, cherished nieces and nephews, Jordan, Jessica, Jailyn, Michael, Malori, Jackson and Grayson, great-niece, Aria and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John J. and Philomena “Phyllis” (Uberti) Hunt.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday February 20, 2019, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
On Thursday, friends are asked to meet directly at 10:00 am at the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
