Jennette McKirdy, age 86, of Shelton, entered into rest on Friday January 9, 2015 in Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the devoted wife of the late Donald Harris McKirdy.
She was born in Bridgeport on Oct. 18, 1928, daughter of the late Dominick and Theresa (Panda) Constanzo and was a resident of Shelton for over 40 years.
Jennette was employed at Stop and Shop for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Huntington Congregational Church and Shelton Senior Center.
She is the beloved mother of Kathleen Zawadski, Donna McKirdy, Gail Tucci, and the late Jean Baker, loving grandmother of Thomas Baker and Michael Tucci, Jr., loving sister of Lillian Purvis and the late Dorothy Legan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. Her memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 5 pm in the funeral home. Spring Burial will be held in Lawn Cemetery.
