Jessie Lee Lide-Levey, aged 78 of Ansonia and beloved wife of Supt. Samuel Levey, departed this life on Wednesday August 17th at Griffin Hospital Hospice Care, Derby, surrounded by her loving family.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Supt. Samuel Levey, Pastor of Williams Temple Church of God in Christ, two sons; Ronnie (Ruthie) Levey, and the late Lavern Levey, two special daughters; Nickey Kollie & Aleena Thomas, sister Sue Rhodes, grandchildren Yolanda Silva, Tracy & Nyree Tinney, Terrance Gattison, Lavern (Ponchie) Hall and Terrell Paige.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from Williams Temple COGIC, 95 Bishop William’s Court, Ansonia, CT. Friends may call at church 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Bishop Hester D. Bordeaux, Prelate CT 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of COGIC will officiate. Interment follows in Pine Grove Cemetery.
