ANSONIA: Joan J. Borgesano, age 76, entered into eternal rest on June 2, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital following a short illness.
Joan was born in Derby on March 31, 1945, daughter of the late Alfred E. and Sally Liberti Marchetto. For years, Joan was employed in the billing department for Connecticut Medical Group in New Haven, until her retirement. Joan enjoyed shopping and searching around in stores for deals.
Joan leaves to cherish her memory, a loving daughter, Lisa Marie Borgesano, former husband, Agostino Borgesano (Joanne) of Ansonia and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Marchetto and a sister, Adrienne Marchetto.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday June 7, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Masks will be required for entry. A celebration of Joan’s life will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Jeffrey Gubbiotti officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
