Joanne (Polizzi) Marino, age 68, entered into eternal rest on October 4, 2019, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved companion of forty-four years to Gino Marulli.
Joanne was born in Derby on October 12, 1950, daughter of the late Carmelo and Rose Caruana Polizzi. A resident of Ansonia for most of her life, she enjoyed spending time with her family, celebrating holidays, shopping, dressing up for special occasions and her doll collection.
In addition to Gino, she leaves to cherish her memory, a loving son, Michael J. Marino Sr. (Crystal Massiello) of Naugatuck, loving daughters, Joanne Merritt (Howard) of Shelton and Lisa Marino of Seymour, caring sisters, Joan Searles and Madeline Baklik (Andrew) of Derby, grandchildren, Alyssa Marino of FL, Nicholas Dennis-Vedock, Jennifer Vedock of Ansonia, Matthew Pratt and Nina Marino of Ansonia, Roger Pratt and Grace Marino of Shelton, Michael J. Marino Jr. and Marc Marino of Naugatuck, great-grandson, L.J. Marino and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting was Tuesday October 8, 2019, from 8:30 to 10:00 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Interment was in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
