John J. Filippone, 63, entered into eternal rest on August 6, 2016.
John was born in Derby on March 18, 1953, son of the late Luciano and Providenza Duca Filippone. He had worked as a painter and was an avid car enthusiast.
He is survived by brothers, Agostino Filippone of Ansonia and Anthony Filippone (Carol) of Orange, sisters, Carol Nakagawara of Ansonia and Maria Carey (Raymond) of Naugatuck, companion, Patricia McDonnell of Stratford, nieces and nephews, Alycia Alhage of Orange, Marisa Carey of Naugatuck, Stacey Evan of FL, Ryan Filippone of KY and Kyle Filippone of IN.
Per John’s request, his funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements.
