John “Jack” Hayden Curtiss, age 70 of Manchester, formerly of Shelton, passed away July 23, 2014 at Hebrew Health Care, West Hartford.
John was born in Derby, July 27, 1943, son of John W. Curtiss and the late Elizabeth (Hayden) Curtiss.
Jack worked as the Parts Department Manager for Curtiss-Ryan Honda Dealership in Shelton for 46 years until his retirement.
He was an avid golfer and had a passion for sports cars.
Besides his father, Jack is survived by his Fiancée, Sharon Viveiros of Manchester; his Daughters, Suzanne Curtiss of Arizona, and Linda Rabbitt and her Husband Timothy of Florida; a brother, Allan Francis Curtiss; and 5 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Shelton. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM in the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton.
