John Matika, a 70 year old resident of Ansonia, passed away at home March 20. He was born Jan. 1, 1944 in Derby, son of the late John & Dorothy Krampetz Matika.
He worked as a machinist and was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia.
John is survived by his nephew David Matika of Beacon Falls, and was predeceased by his brother Richard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 24th at 9:00 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Entombment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery Mausoleum in Derby. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Holy Rosary Church.
