John N. Pedevillano, age 100, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 5, 2020, in the comfort of his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Carmela Nicoletti Pedevillano.
Mr. Pedevillano was born in Ansonia on December 25, 1919, son of the late Joseph and Nicolina Gugliuzzi Pedevillano. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, he was employed as a machinist at the Farrel Corporation in Ansonia for many years, until his retirement. A proud veteran, he honorably served in the United States Army during WW 2. John was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia and will be remembered as a kind and true gentleman.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving son, Paul Pedevillano (Suzanne) of Hopkinton, MA, loving daughters, Louise Emond (Gary) of Naples, FL and Carol Cappellino (Anthony) of Hartsdale, NY, grandchildren, Paul Dale Pedevillano (Alexandra Calcado), Devin Pedevillano, Rose Parker (Patrick), Audrey Gladu, Olivia Gladu, great-grandchildren, Sophea and Wyatt and numerous nieces and nephews. John came from a big family with brothers, Frank, Samuel, Anthony and Joseph Pedevillano and sisters, Josephine Valenti and Carolyn Lotto.
