John Peccerillo, age 82, of Derby entered into rest on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Griffin Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was the devoted husband of Joan (Aversano) Peccerillo. John was born in New Haven on November 18, 1938 son of the late Ralph and Theresa (Porto) Peccerillo. He was a Senior Field Engineer for United Illuminating for many years until his retirement. John was an avid golfer and was a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and his beloved dog Chloe who was always on his lap and his grand-pup Mya who was usually glued to his side.
John was the loving father of Catherine (Peccerillo) Mis and Kiersten Peccerillo, brother of Ralph Peccerillo and brother-in-law to Patty Klesyk. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by a brother Joseph Peccerillo, two sisters, Victoria Marino and Fanny DePalma and his sister-in-law Theresa Garofalo.
