John S. Trimarki, age 70, of Woodbury entered into rest on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Waterbury Hospital. But everyone who was lucky enough to know him knows that his warm smile and his unwavering love for his friends and family will live on forever.
John was born in Derby on May 21, 1950, and was the son of the late Angelo and Viluccia (Valentino) Trimarki. He worked at Sikorsky Aircraft for over 30 years before his retirement, and he was an active member of Algonquin Archers of Woodbury, where he spent many days target shooting with his best friends.
Above all else, John cherished spending time with his family — including his daughter Jennifer Picheco, his son Keith Trimarki and wife Kate, his former spouse Roberta Trimarki, his brother Charles Trimarki and wife Margaret, and his sister Rita Simmons and husband Carl.
John was a loving grandfather who will be missed dearly by Kylie, Camryn and Connor Picheco, Colton Koski and Giada, Lucia, Calla, Gemma and Siena Trimarki. He was also the nephew of Dominick Valentino and wife Patricia and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, John’s funeral services were held privately. However, there will be a memorial service at a later date, and the family looks forward to celebrating his life and memories with all of those he loved so dearly.
