Jordan Ryan Valeski, age 31 of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, April 4, 2022. Born in Bridgeport on August 26, 1990, he was the beloved son of Dawn (Wasilewski) Valeski and the late Mark Valeski. Jordan was raised in Seymour before moving to Shelton and worked as a talented, hardworking landscaper For Scott’s Lawn Care since he was 16 years old.
Jordan was a warm, loving, compassionate and positive energy to all who knew him. He was known to light up the room and made all in his presence feel loved and heard. He was very active and athletic and loved being outdoors in nature. He loved to watch and play sports, specifically enjoying shooting hoops and blading with friends. He was an avid fan of Duke Blue Devils Basketball and Dallas Cowboys. He loved live music and was always the one to dance the night away. Most of all, he loved spending time with family, friends, and all their pets.
In addition to his mother Dawn and her fiancé Stephen Conway, Jordan is survived by his beloved sister Lindsey and her fiancé Paul Hatzikostas; his nephew Mason Hatzikostas; his grandmothers, Elsie Valeski and Rosemary Wasilewski; his aunts, Coreen “Duba” and her husband Robert Csugie, Paula Valeski, and Maria Nisbet (Jack); his uncle, Scott Wasilewski; his cousins, Tristan, Mikayla, and Bob Wasilewski and Grace Nisbit; and his girlfriend, Meredith Freeman.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the parlor. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Masks are required in the funeral home. Those attending his services are asked not to wear black.
