Joseph Anthony Castaldi, an 86 year old Trumbull resident and former longtime Valley resident, entered into eternal rest Feb. 17.
He was born Dec. 21, 1930 in Derby, son of the late Dominic & Catherine Castaldi.
Joseph was a U. S. Marine Veteran of the Korean War and worked at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford.
He was predeceased by his first wife Mary Frattalone, his second wife Joan Castaldi and later by his longtime companion Helen Wasilewski. He was also predeceased by siblings Anthony Castaldi, Rose Culmo & Edye Fama. He is survived by his daughters Robyn Housemann (Chuck) of Cheshire and Kim Sekelsky (Joe) of Milford, son Dale Castaldi of Florida, sister Mary Husted of Hamden, grandchildren Lauren Castaldi, Alex Housemann & Kyle Wasilewski and several nieces & nephews.
Friends may call on Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia CT. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Memorial services with military honors accorded will begin at 6:30 p.m.
