Joseph Conlon, age 68, of Springfield, MA, entered into rest on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Joseph was born in Derby on January 26, 1955, son of the late William and Elizabeth (Walsh) Conlon.
He worked as a machinist in several local manufacturing companies. He loved to read and to listen to music. He collected books and records.
Joseph is the beloved father of Sean Conlon and his wife Jeana, Jude Conlon and his wife Mai, Maire-Rose Pike, and Colleen Conlon, and proud grandfather of Fionnbharr Conlon, Malachy Conlon, Margaret Conlon, William Conlon, and Aidan Conlon. He also leaves three brothers, William, Bernard, and Timothy Conlon, two sisters, Mary Krenicky and Elizabeth Conlon, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday January 4, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. His funeral service will be held on Friday January 5, 2023 at 10:15 am in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, 219 New Haven Ave. Derby.
