Joseph J. Simon Jr., a 55-year-old Ansonia resident and husband to the late Cathy Hyman Simon, passed away suddenly at home on Jan. 23.
He was born Feb. 6, 1965 in Derby, son of the late Joseph Simon and Barbara Cook Simon. He leaves his son, Joseph Simon IV, and daughter, Nicole Simon, both of Derby; his sister, Cheryl Simon; of Ansonia; a brother, Chris Simon, of Southbury, and; two grandchildren, Ayla Botelho and Ayden Simon, both of Derby.
Funeral services was scheduled to be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 8 at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. in Ansonia.
