Joseph “Jay” S. Krivensky, III, age 59, of Oakville entered into rest on December 11, 2018 at home with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Milford on October 28, 1959, son of the late Joseph S. Krivensky, Jr. and the late Mary (Collins) Krivensky and was a Shelton resident for most of his life.
He was an avid outdoorsman, and took every opportunity he could to immerse himself in nature. His life was happily spent hunting, camping, fishing, and golfing.
Jay was also an exceptional pool player and he loved Harley Davidson motorcycles. He had many joys in his life, but his love for his children and spending time with them was his true happiness.
He is the beloved father of Keri Lydem and Samantha Krivensky, brother of, John Krivensky (Janet), Karen DeWitt (Frank), Mari Caisse (Richard), Robyn Collins, and Lynne DeBarbieri (John).
Jay was so proud to be “Papa” to his wonderful grandchildren, Julia and Sarah, and he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Sunday, December 16th from 1pm – 4pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton.
