Joseph L. Ciliberti, age 70, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on May 19, 2018, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Francine Cannizzaro Ciliberti.
Mr. Ciliberti was born in Bridgeport on May 15, 1948, son of the late Michael and Eva Young Ciliberti. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. Joe had worked as a real estate agent and enjoyed music.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Louis Ciliberti of ME, John Ciliberti of Wallingford, Joseph Ciliberti II of Shelton and Frank Ciliberti of FL, daughters, Lisa Antidormi and Carol Cabanas of Naugatuck, Ramona Reed of SC, Sandra Esteves of Sandy Hook and Eva Puccilli of Milford, brothers, Michael Ciliberti of North Haven and Kenneth Ciliberti of ME and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Ciliberti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Thursday May 24, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Please meet at the church at 12:45 PM. U.S. Navy military honors will be accorded following Mass. Interment will be private.
