Joseph L. Tremblay, Jr., age 55, of Shelton, CT passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born to parents Joseph and Joyce (Richardson) Tremblay on October 1, 1964. Joseph “Joe” was a resident of Shelton, CT his entire life. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife Lisa (Keating) Tremblay of 17 years and their children Ashley Tremblay, Joseph Tremblay III, Faith Tremblay and Tyler Keating (fiancee Abigail French). In addition he is survived by his sisters Terry Jones (husband Bob Jones), Joanne Glowa, Lois Tremblay and Gloria Paradiso. His in-laws Robert and Linda Keating. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Julie Shuster. Joseph was a devoted New England Patriot fan. He enjoyed the fall in Waitsfield, VT, fishing, playing cards, sunset car rides, morning breakfasts with local friends and making memories with his family. He also loved spending time with his two dogs Shotgun and Trooper.
Joe was a bright light and always seemed optimistic no matter what life threw at him.
Friends are invited to join his family this Sunday, August 23rd for calling hours from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at his home, 26 Edgewood Avenue, in Shelton followed by his Celebration of Life, all which will be held out doors to keep everyone attending safe. The family would like to thank Shelton Echo Hose Ambulance EMS and Griffin Hospital Emergency Room Staff. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton has been entrusted with his arrangements.
