Joseph P. Lepri, age 78, of Shelton, entered into rest on Wednesday December 19, 2018 in the Griffin Hospital Derby surrounded by his loving family. He is the devoted husband of 52 years to Elizabeth (Betty) Zaprzalka Lepri.
Joe was born in Derby on August 18, 1940 son of the late Henry and Mary (Madorno) Lepri, and was a lifelong Shelton resident.
He attended St. Joseph Grammar School, Bullard Haven Technical School, and was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Derby. Joe worked as a painter and roofer with his family at the former Henry Lepri and Sons for many years.
He is the loving brother of Robert Lepri, and beloved Godfather of Dorothy Jordan, Arthur Jones, and Daniel Gibbs. He also leaves many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He is predeceased by brothers Henry, Alfred, Pasquale, and Francis Lepri, and his sister Mary Brasile.
