Joseph P. Napychank, a 71 year old Ansonia resident and devoted partner to Barbara Hall, entered into eternal rest Feb. 4, 2023. He was born Oct. 30, 1951 in Derby, son of the late Joseph and Vincenza Gaudio Napychank. Joseph was a graduate Shelton High School as well as of The Culinary Institute of N.Y. and was the owner and proprietor of Napy’s Services.
He was a lifelong member of the N.R.A., enjoyed fishing at the Derby Dam and was a certified Pyro Tech.
He was predeceased by his brother Andrew. In addition to Barbara, he leaves to cherish his memory goddaughter & niece Christina Napychank of Oxford, brothers Michael Napychank of Oxford, and Stephen Napychank of Shelton, and nephews Duane Jones of Derby & Michael Napychank of Torrington.
Friends may call on Thursday, Feb. 9 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church in Derby.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shelton. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store.
