Joseph Raymond Keller, Sr., age 86, of Beacon Falls, entered into rest on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Griffin Hospital.
He was born in Bridgeport on July 25, 1938 son of the late Lawrence Edgar and Elizabeth M. (Pfister) Keller. Joe was a mechanic with Student Bus Company for many years until his retirement. He coached Little League Baseball and enjoyed driving race cars. Joe also enjoyed puzzles, bowling and watching NASCAR. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.
He was the beloved father of Scott (Barb), Francis (Lori), Lisa (Walter), Shelly (Lynn), Penny and Julie (Joe) and step-father of Harry (Ethal) and Sean (Deanna). Joe was the loving grandfather of many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was also survived by his former spouse Wanda and several nieces and nephews.
Joe was predeceased by his son Joseph “Joey”, Jr., two brothers, Henry and Charles and a sister Frances.
On Monday, friends may call from 12:00 — 2:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. His funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the parlor.
