Joseph S. Peabody, age 44, of Sarasota, Florida entered into rest on Saturday, November 9, 2013 in Georgia.
He was born in Bridgeport, on March 31, 1969 beloved son of Evelyn (Jones) Peabody and the late Joseph John Peabody and was a Shelton resident for most of his life.
Joseph was a patrolman for the Monroe Police Department for 18 years before moving to Florida. He enjoyed fishing, mechanically preparing his Dodge for truck pulls, truck pulls and rock climbing with Jeeps. He was a member After Hours Diesel Club in Florida.
Joseph is the loving brother of Michael Peabody and his wife Ana, Heather Cullen and Keri-Beth Guerra and her husband John. He is the uncle of Christian Peabody, Erica Cullen and Wyatt Guerra.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd, Shelton on Friday at 1:30 PM. Calling hours will follow in the funeral home from 3 to 7 PM.
