Josephine V. Reutter, age 78, a longtime resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of 60 years to the late Russell F. Reutter, Jr.
Josephine was born in East Germany on August 12, 1946, daughter of the late Michael and Bronislawa Stelmach. She was trained as an X‑Ray Tech and worked at Griffin Hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed crafting and shopping, and was blessed with a heart of gold.
Josephine is survived by her three loving children, Raymond Reutter and his wife Cindy, Richard Reutter, and Jennifer Reutter, seven cherished grandchildren, Scott, Jennifer, Joseph, Christopher, Matthew, Damon, and Shayla, eight great-grandchildren, her sister, Theresa Stelmach, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby. Burial will be private.
