Julius Lockett, age 75, passed away Nov. 17.
He was born June 1, 1937 in Wilmington, Delaware, and was an Ansonia resident for the last six years.
He leaves four sons, David Lockett of Monroe, Julius Alfred Lockett Jr. of Waterbury, Gerald Lockett (Kerie) of Buffalo NY, Jeramie Gladman of Monroe, former wife Gloria Lockett, niece Tracey Hayes, several other nieces & nephews, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, best friend Les Bertolini and a host of other friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his mother and stepfather Julia and Anthony Hall and 3 brothers Isaac, William and Edward.
A Memorial Service and celebration of Julius’ life will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at The Macedonia Baptist Church in Ansonia. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St., Ansonia is entrusted with arrangements. (www.jenkinskingfh.com)
