Julius T. Bunosso, age 82, of Shelton entered into rest on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Griffin Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was the devoted husband of 50 years to Jeanne (Geoghan) Bunosso. Julius was born in Derby on May 28, 1937 son of the late Louis and Jennie (Mastrianni) Bunosso and was a lifelong valley resident.
He proudly served with the U.S. Marine Corp and was a member of the Shelton American Legion Post 16.
Julius was the owner and operator of Julius’s Place Luncheonette and Catering. Later, he became a custodian at Lafayette School until his retirement.
Julius is the beloved father of Tom Bunosso and his wife Tracy, Lou Bunosso and his wife Laura, Lauren Cisero, Pat Pascuzzo and his wife Eleanor and Lisa Dimeolo.
Julius is survived by his sister Mary Jo Kelley and brother in law Bob Kelley.
He is the loving grandfather of Cody, Isabella, Casey, Luke, Caileigh, Nick, Tayler, Jake, Jenna and Jessica.
Julius is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 50 Fairmont Place, Shelton.
His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. His burial with military honors will be at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may leave condolences at http://www.riverviewfh.com.
