Justin A. Rogliano, age 41, entered into eternal rest at his home in Shelton on Thursday, May 9th, 2024. Justin was born on September 14, 1982 at Norwalk Hospital to parents Karen (Stiebitz) Rogliano and Guy Rogliano, and was a Shelton resident for most of his life. After attending Shelton High School and 2 years at Southern Connecticut State University Justin was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford. Upon leaving Sikorsky Justin pursued his love of being outdoors and on the water through his dream job as a yacht deck-hand. He traveled around the Gulf of Mexico, South America, and eventually landed in Alaska. He continued with his passion by opening Apex Luxury Detailing in Fort Lauderdale, FL where he detailed boats in local marinas. Justin and his father worked together at Sanders Marina and Beacon Point Marina in Shelton detailing, waxing, and painting boat bottoms.
Justin was brilliant and witty with a sharp sense of humor. He loved reading, watching the Yankees, and was a die hard NY Giants fan, even though they didn’t always give him much to cheer about. Justin enjoyed spending time with his family. He adored his nieces and nephews and was truly happiest when playing with them and swinging them around. He also loved the annual Rogliano Family Reunion at Schroon Lake, where he was able to put his unmatched Setback skills on display, and enjoyed all the other shenanigans that took place. With a smile that could light up a room and eyes that sparkled, Justin left an impression on everyone he met and he will be deeply missed.
Justin leaves behind his parents, Karen and Guy, his twin sisters, Megan (Taylor) Field and Jamie (Joe) Riofrio and their children, Madyson, Tenley, Arya and Brycen Field and Siena and Jacob Riofrio. Justin had a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. They will all cherish his memory.
Justin was predeceased by his grandparents, Jack and Jean Steibitz and Al and Betty Rogliano. He was also predeceased by his uncles John David Steibitz and Robert Rogliano.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to his nieces and nephews education fund.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Wednesday from 4 to 6 PM. A funeral service for Justin will begin in the parlor at 6 PM.
