Karen Margaret Paradis, age 58, of Derby, entered into rest on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in her home . She is the devoted wife of 34 years of David L. Paradis. Karen was born in Bridgeport on April 13, 1966, cherished daughter of Edward J. Klosky Jr. and the late Catherine (Baxter) Klosky. She grew up in Fairfield and lived in Ansonia for most of her life before moving to Derby in 2020.
Karen worked as a Customer Service Rep for Ally Industries. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and sci-fi movies. She worked hard at improving herself, participating in bible study and developing her faith over the last few years.
She is the beloved mother of David Paradis and Trisha Paradis. She also leaves her twin, Katherine A. Ashelford and her husband John L. Ashelford III, and her niece Catherine R. Ashelford.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Sunday from 1 to 3 PM. A funeral service will begin in the parlor at 3 PM.
