Karl H. Loeffler, age 89, of Stratford, entered into rest on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Karl was born in Norwalk on August 28, 1935, son of the late Alfonse and Eleanor (Zipprich) Loeffler. He served his country in the United States Navy.
Karl owned and operated a Weston Newspaper Delivery Service up until his retirement. He was very philosophical, a student of history, and closely followed world events throughout his life.
He was the beloved father of Kim Francoeur (Norman), Karl Dan Loeffler (Michelle), Laura Loeffler, and the late Ruth Reichardt, proud grandfather of Cindy and Jesse Reichardt, and Chloe, Cole, Clay, Ruby, and Violet Loeffler, and great-grandfather of Gracie. He is also survived by a brother, Helmuth Loeffler, and a sister, Lori Neilsen.
The Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. A Private Service with Military Honors will be held for the family at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
