Karynn Barbour, a 69 year old Hamden and former longtime Derby, CT resident, passed away Sept. 25.
She was born April 10, 1952 in Derby, daughter of the late Arthur and Charlotte Waller. She graduated from Derby High School, Class of 1970 and worked for Charlton Press. She leaves her husband Kevin Barbour of Derby, her sister-in-law Carol Stec of Derby and Carol’s husband David, brothers-in-law Ricky & Robert Barbour, niece Kristin Stec, nephew David Stec, and dear friend Patricia Farris of Bridgeton, Maine.
She was predeceased by her sister Charlotte Scott. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 5 at 11:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Burial will follow in The State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service begins.
