Katherine Andrew, age 92, wife of the late Henry Andrew and resident of Seymour, entered into eternal rest Dec. 9, 2016.
She was born Jan. 4, 1924 in Derby, daughter of the late Dominick & Teresa Esposito Pirritino.
Katherine worked for The Bungay School and was a parishioner of The Church of the Good Shepherd, both in Seymour.
She leaves to cherish her memory 3 daughters Barbara Junko & husband George of Seymour, Elizabeth Bolton & husband Roy of Madison, ME. and Mary Andrew & husband Anthony Guarascio of Virginia, son Thomas H. Andrew & wife Janet of North Branford, 7 grandchildren, Lesley Junko, Marc Andrew, Roy Bolton III, Karen Lombardi, Ashley King, Michael Esposito & Mia Esposito and 3 great grandchildren Gavin Lombardi, Harper King & Dominic Andrew, sister Madeline Concilio of Derby, brother Dominic Pirritino of Ansonia, and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Angelina Fama & brother Lawrence Pirritino.
Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. The funeral will then leave for church, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Rd. Seymour. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
