Katherine Ellen “Kitty” Pratt, a longtime Middlebury CT resident currently of Ohio and wife of William Pratt, entered into eternal rest December 5, 2015.
She was born October 23, 1935, and graduated from Ansonia High School Class of 1952.
Katherine ran Kitty’s Clothing and Furniture Bank for battered women from her Middlebury home for many years. She also belonged to the Red Hats Society.
Survived by her beloved husband William J. Pratt, Brother William McNish of Ansonia, 3 sons William Pratt Jr., Brian Pratt & Kevin Pratt, 3 daughters, Ellen McGovern, Jody Pratt-Sands, Lori Pratt-Lloyd, 2 nephews, 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 3 daughters & sons-in law.
Friends may call on Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday December 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
