Kelly E. “KJ” Hubbard Jr., age 22, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 11, 2013, at his home, with his loving family by his side.
KJ was born in Derby on December 29, 1990, beloved son of Kelly E., Sr. and Linda Marcucio Hubbard. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, he was employed at General Muffler & Auto Supply in Ansonia.
KJ was an avid fan of all sports, especially the St. Louis Rams, Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. He enjoyed music and his Ford Mustang convertible.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Nicole M. Gouveia and her husband John M. of Ansonia, paternal grandfather, James D. Hubbard of Ansonia, maternal grandparents, John and Louise Marcucio of Ansonia, paternal great-grandmother, Helen Closson Jenkins of Monroe, great-aunt, Earla Montani of Monroe, several loving and devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, feline friends, Stewart and Tyler and Canine buddy Sophia. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Della Ann Hubbard.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday June 14, 2013, from 4 – 8 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Saturday, friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am (PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY) at the Church of the Assumption, 61 North Cliff Street in Ansonia.
