Kenneth Allen Brunswick, age 52, of Shelton, entered into rest on Friday January 24, 2014 in Griffin Hospital with his loving family by his side. He is the devoted friend of 25 years of Laura Paige.
Kenny was born in Bridgeport on April 24, 1961 beloved son of Gilbert B. Brunswick, and the late Elsie L. (O’Donnell) Brunswick and was a resident of Shelton for 40 years.
He was a Carpenter by trade and enjoyed watching football, basketball and baseball. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia 76ers, and New York Yankees. Kenny was a good friend to many and always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is the beloved brother of Gil Brunswick and his wife Connie, cherished uncle of Collin, Michael, Jr. Lindsay, Christopher, Jared and Sean. He also leaves his sister in law Lynda Brunswick, a special cousin Sandra Ferro and her husband Tom, and Laura’s children, Paulie, Heather and Jasmine, who were a very important part of Kenny’s life. He was predeceased by his brother Michael Brunswick.
Friends may greet his family on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm with his funeral service at 6:30 pm in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Kenny will be buried alongside his mother at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford.
