Kenneth E. Koepfli

Kenneth E. Koepfli, age 60, of Shelton entered into rest on Friday October 28, 2016. 

He is survived by his deeply devoted wife Jean L. (Oliver) Koepfli, her children Jordan and his wife Megan Nagy, Parker Nagy and Skylar Nagy and his loving daughter Chantal and her husband Lieutenant Colonel Michael Capodicasa of the US Air Force as well as his grandsons Alexander and Dominick whom he has a very special relationship with. 

Ken was a driver for the Local 443 Teamsters for 30 years and worked at L. Suzio Construction Co. (Beard Concrete). Outside of work, he was an avid angler who looked forward to his annual opening day trout fishing trip with his many life-long friends. He was also an accomplished hunter and boater who enjoyed many special weekends with his family on his boat the Time Out”. He loved camping and was a master mechanic. Ken was known to be able to fix anything and was a skilled carpenter. He had a love of dogs, especially Dante and was a die hard San Francisco 49ers fan. He was a humble salt of the earth kind of guy and was very devoted to his family. 

He was born in Seattle, Washington on June 13, 1956 however he lived in St. Lucia for most of his formative years, which he considered home. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Friends and family are invited to greet Ken’s family on Friday from 4 to 7 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road Shelton.
