Kenneth P. Kalanick, Sr. , age 56, of Shelton entered into rest on Saturday July 13, 2013 in the Griffin Hospital Derby
He is the devoted husband of 30 years to Karen Wandishion Kalanick.
Ken was born in Bridgeport Jan. 20, 1957 son of the late Michael and Jane (Rowny) Kalanick and was a long time Shelton resident. He was a leadman at Sikorsky’s for over 35 years, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, archery, and cooking.
Ken is the beloved father of Mandy Gimenez, and her husband Peter, Kenneth P. Kalanick, Jr., and Megan Kalanick. He is the loving brother of Michael Kalanick, Sr. and his wife Kathy, and David Kalanick and his wife Donna. He is the cherished grandfather of Alexa Anne Gimenez, and also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Friends may greet his family on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. On Wednesday his funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:15 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Margaret Mary Church Shelton.
