Kevin G. Solsbury, age 65, entered eternal rest on April 24, 2025, at his home in Carbondale, PA.
He was the loving husband of fifteen years to Karen Hoover.Kevin was born in Derby, son of the late Henry and Ann Bailey Solsbury. He was raised in Ansonia and worked at the former Housatonic Lumber and Stevenson Lumber.
Kevin then moved to Pennsylvania where he resided for the past twenty-three years. There, he was employed as a warehouse forklift operator for PA Hutchinson. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants and a NASCAR enthusiast.
In addition to his wife Karen, Kevin leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Carolyn Grant (James) of Waterbury and Katie A. Solsbury of Ronco, PA, grandchildren, Samantha and Aaron Fitzpatrick, sisters, Maureen Solsbury of Naugatuck, CT and Ellen Stefancin (Richard) of Derby, CT, his buddy and bonus step-son, Timothy Tarvin of Carbondale, PA, step-son, Scott Tarvin of Binghamton, NY, along with several nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Robert, Patrick, Shaun and Keith Solsbury and sister, Ann Renker.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1:00 – 2:30 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 2:30 pm a funeral service in celebration of Kevin’s life will take place with Deacon Victor, officiating.
