Kevin J. Henry, 57, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest on February 20, 2012, in his residence.
Mr. Henry was born in Sharon, CT on September 11, 1954, beloved son of Edith Loucks Henry of Shelton and the late Francis D. Henry. Kevin honorably served for twenty years in the United States Navy as an aircraft mechanic aboard aircraft carriers USS Saratoga, USS J.F.K., USS Eisenhower, USS America, and USS George Washington. Following his retirement from the Navy, he was employed as a commercial airline mechanic for Timko Inc. in North Carolina.
In addition to his mother Edith, he is survived by a son, Kevin Henry and a daughter Christina Henry of Naugatuck, five brothers, Patrick C. Henry, Francis J. Henry, and Russell J. Henry of Ansonia, William J. Henry of Derby and Edward R. Henry of Beacon Falls, a sister, Sharon E. Henry of Ansonia, two granddaughters, Arianna and Kayla, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Bruce S. Henry.
Visiting hours for Kevin will be held on Friday February 24, 2012, from 4 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 7:00 pm, a funeral service and celebration of his life will take place with Pastor Jim Wegner officiating, followed by U.S. Navy military honors.
