Kevin J. Graham Sr., age 62, unexpectedly entered peaceful rest on July 3, 2023, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
Kevin was born in Norwalk on November 11, 1960, son of the late James F. Graham and Beulah “Pete” Dyer Merritt. He was a graduate of Derby High School. Residing in Shelton, Kevin was employed as an operations manager for Homeguard Incorporated in Fairfield and was also the owner and operator for twenty-five years of Affordable Alarms. Kevin was an avid league bowler at both Amity Bowl and Wolcott Lanes with multiple 300 games and one 800 series. He finished second in doubles at the USBC National Bowling Tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2019, partnered with his nephew Anthony Merritt. Kevin enjoyed vacationing in Alaska and off roading with his Jeep Wrangler. Over the last few years, he became interested in ghost hunting. Kevin was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and all things related to the Titanic.
Kevin leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Kevin J. Graham Jr. and his fiancée Nicole Pressley and her children, Mason Stefancin and Amanda Pressley of Ansonia, a daughter, Jennifer M. Graham of Seymour, brothers, Donald Graham of Florida, David Graham of Florida, Howard Merritt (Joanne) of Naugatuck and Tracy Merritt of Florida, grandchildren, Kiara and Christian Graham of Ansonia and his friend and mother of his children, Elizabeth Petzold of Fayetteville, Ohio, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Coleen Weber.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
