Kim L. Fogarty, age 74, of Shelton, entered into rest on Saturday September 20, 2014 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was the devoted wife of 52 years to George L. Fogarty.
Mrs. Fogarty was born in Suwn Korea, on December 12, 1939, daughter of the late Sun Man Pak and Young Hui Kwon and was a Shelton resident for 43 years previously living in Stratford. Mrs. Fogarty was an employee at Sikorsky Aircraft until her retirement in 1996.
She is the beloved mother of Mary F. Bialek and her husband Dennis, John R. Fogarty and George M. Fogarty and his wife Karen. She is the loving sister of Oso Pak and Sunso Johnson. The cherished grandmother of Matthew and Erik Turski, Jamie and Kristine Shalvoy, Andrew Fogarty, Meghan and Christopher Fogarty. She is also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
Friends may greet her family on Wednesday morning from 9 am to 11 am in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Her funeral service will be celebrated at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery.
