Kimberly A. Landona, age 54, of Derby, peacefully entered into rest on Monday, May 27, 2024, with her family by her side at CT Hospice in Branford. She is the cherished wife of 31 years of Philip Landona Jr. Kim was born in Bridgeport on July 25, 1969, daughter of John and Joyce (Sangster) Belden, and lived in Derby for the past 31 years.
She was a devoted teacher in the Shelton Elementary School System, starting her career at Lafayette School and moving to Sunnyside School, where she impacted so many young lives with her kindness and compassion. Kim doted over her beloved grandaughter and loved being at the beach.
She is the loving mother of Philip Landona, III and his wife Nicole, Ryan Landona, and Samantha Landona, and proud grandmother of Lillian Landona. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by three devoted siblings, John Belden, Jr., Julie St. Pierre, and Theresa Kieley, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. On Friday her funeral service will begin at Riverview at 11 AM.
