Laurie C. Grieger, 55, of Branford, peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 28, 2014, at the St. Raphael Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Laurie was born in New Haven on August 19, 1958, beloved daughter of Arthur W. Grieger of Woodbridge and the late Jacqueline Moore Grieger.
She was employed as a Certified Nursing Aide at Branford Hills Health Care for many years. Laurie loved her garden and enjoyed bargain hunting.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a son, William Polino Jr. of Branford, a daughter, Megan Polino of Wakefield, RI, a brother, William R. Grieger (Wendy) of Bethany, two sisters, Jody Gumbrewicz (Joe) and Kim Kraus (Tim) of Oxford, nieces and nephews, Cory Gumbrewicz (Mike), Joseph Gumbrewicz (Tanya), Bucky Gumbrewicz, Rebecca Gumbrewicz, Madison Grieger and Evan Grieger, auntie Karen and Uncle Ed and dear friends Gwin and Lisa. She was predeceased by her nephew, Cody Kraus.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Laurie’s funeral service and celebration of her life on Friday, May 2, 2014, (PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY) at 10:30 am at Beaverdale Cemetery, 90 Pine Rock Avenue in New Haven with Deacon Richard Renker officiating.
