Leonardo W. Cirino

Leonardo W. Lee” Cirino, age 40, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on February 17, 2017, in his home. 

Leonardo Lee” was born in New Haven on July 22, 1976, beloved son of Frank Cirino of Seymour and the late Ann Byrne Cirino. He attended Ansonia schools and was a resident of Ansonia and Seymour his entire life. Lee was employed in the construction and roofing industries. He enjoyed spending time and created many lasting memories with his family at their beach house in New Haven. He also liked Italian food and the peacefulness and tranquility of being outside in his yard and woods, playing with his dogs, at his home in Seymour. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears.

In addition to his father Frank, he is survived by a loving sister, Ignazia Cirino of Ansonia, a dear aunt, Carmela Cirino of Ansonia, who helped raise Lee after his mother’s passing, longtime companion, Vanessa Riyasat and many other, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and canine buddies Odie and Peyton. 

Visiting hours will be held on Friday February 24, 2017, from 4 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Saturday, relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral at 10:00 am (Please Meet Directly) at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to One Big Dog, 135 Bradley Road, Woodbridge, CT 06525 or through the funeral home.
