Lillian Frattalone

Lillian Frattalone, 78, passed away March 10, 2025 in New Haven, CT after a brief illness. She was born September 26, 1946 in Derby, CT and lived most of her life in Ansonia, CT. Prior to returning to Connecticut in late 2024, she spent the previous 20 years in the St. Petersburg, FL area. Lillian is the daughter of the late Michael and Teresa (Macchio) Frattalone and was predeceased by her son Jason, her sister Linda and devoted partner, Charles Clark.

She leaves three grandchildren, Michael Frattalone of PA, Taylor and Arianna Frattalone of CT, a beloved aunt, Jeanne Diotalevi of FL, two nephews, a host of cousins, and her two dogs Faye and Hope.

Besides spending time with Faye and Hope, her family and friends, Lillian enjoyed crafting, specifically making jewelry, crocheting and knitting. She was devoted to her son Jason and loved children. For most of her adult years, she would care for the children of her family and friends. Those close to Lillian know that despite her stubbornness, she had a very big heart. She looked at everyone the same, she was a friend to all and would do anything she could to help you if you asked her.

Thank you to her angels here on earth, Aunt Jeanne and cousins Donna and Bobby Diotalevi for caring for all her needs since the passing of immediate family members. Additionally, a special thank you to all that have come forward since her passing to support the family with anything that has been needed during this time. You are all blessings and we are very grateful to all of you.

Committal services will be held on Saturday, March 29 in the mausoleum chapel of Mount St. Peter Cemetery, 219 New Haven Avenue, Derby, CT. Friends and family are asked to arrive at 11:15 am. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin Street, Ansonia, CT is entrusted with arrangements.
