Lillian G. Quedenfeldt, an 81 year old Seymour resident and wife of the late Ernest P. Quedenfeldt, entered into eternal rest April 30.
She was born June 29, 1942 in Ansonia, daughter of the late Leon & Carmela Persico Kennedy. She graduated from Ansonia High School. She worked for UniRoyal Co., and was an active member of the former First Baptist Church in Ansonia, where she served as a deaconess and sang in the choir. Later she joined the Grace Bible Church in Shelton and volunteered at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
She leaves her son, Paul Quedenfeldt of Seymour, and sisters Jacqueline Rimiller of Smithville, N.Y., Judy Verrilli of Bridgeport and Leona Harvie of Derby, as well as several nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings Patricia Wright, Mary D’Agostino, and Linda and Leon Kennedy.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17 at 12 NOON from The Grace Bible Church, 269 Coram Ave. Shelton. Friends may call at church from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, The Shriner’s or to The Seymour Animal Shelter. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia has been privileged with arrangements.
