Linda (Cairone) Crowley, age 76, entered peaceful rest on May 13, 2023, in the comfort of her home. She was the beloved wife of Nicholas D. Crowley.
Linda was born in Derby on August 8, 1946, daughter of the late Ralph A. Cairone and Mary Monaco Cairone. A Seymour resident since 2003, she was employed as an administrator and programmer for ITT in Shelton and later for Telenity in Monroe, until her retirement. Linda was a devout communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. She enjoyed tending to her gardens, cooking a good meal, making handmade apple cider, and restoring old homes.
In addition to her husband Nicholas, she leaves to cherish her memory, a brother, David C. Cairone Sr. (Robin) of Sarasota, FL, a sister, Regina Cairone of Derby, a niece, Rachael Lipson (Matthew) of W. Nyack, NY, nephews, David C. Cairone Jr. (Karen) of Norwell, MA and Michael Cairone of Brighton, MA, great-nieces and nephews, Jake and Elena Lipson and Cameron and Cora Cairone, aunt, Helena Cairone Barsczewski of Shelton, as well as many loving cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Sunday May 21, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Monday, all are invited to attend her funeral at 10:00 am by meeting directly at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive, Ansonia, for her Mass of Christian Burial.
