Linda J. Evan, age 65, of Derby entered into rest on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She is the beloved wife of 40 years to Ernest J. Evan. Mrs. Evan was born in Bridgeport on Nov. 3, 1947 daughter of the late Richard N. and Estelle Jones Perry.
Mrs. Evan was the manager of the Photo Lab at Sikorsky Aircraft for 27 years until her retirement. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Mrs. Evan also loved animals and bird watching.
She is the loving mother of Michele Evan, sister of Scott Perry and his wife Jennifer and aunt of Conner Perry.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby.
On Friday, her funeral will leave the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Shelton.
