Linda R. Zalenski, 66, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on November 27, 2015, in the comfort of her home with her loving and devoted sister by her side.
Linda was born in Derby on December 15, 1948, daughter of the late Edward J. and Carmella Fattarusso Zalenski. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, she earned her Master’s Degree from Southern Connecticut State University. She was employed as a special education teacher for over 40 years, where she taught in various school districts. Linda was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Ansonia.
She is survived by her beloved sister, Karen A. Zalenski of Ansonia. She was predeceased by an infant brother and canine buddies Beth and Sandy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Tuesday December 1, 2015, at 10:00 am (PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY) at St. Joseph Church, 32 Jewett Street in Ansonia. Interment will follow in the family plot in St. Michael Cemetery in Derby. There will be no visiting hours. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements.
